Introducing Karis House

We are thrilled to announce that
Bethany Place for Women has a new home!

We have been given the exclusive use of the main floor of Karis House, a lovely heritage home located in the Old City!

This property was purchased to honour the legacy of a very community-service minded couple who has passed away. The word ‘karis’ in Greek means ‘gift’ and the intention is for this house to be a gift and blessing to our community. We are so fortunate to be recipients of this lovely space!

The Increase

Having the use of Karis House, we anticipate not only being able to host more women at each event, but hold MORE gatherings as the space is completely ours to utilize! We are excited about how things will unfold for us!!

We will continue with the events we currently host in the community at other facilities, and are also very happy to consider what we will be able to do with a home base of our own!!

The Stretch

While we have been offered the use of Karis House rent-free, we will still be responsible for all utilities, running costs and household expenses, which will be a new financial stretch for us.
